Nate McMillan said during today's shootaround (http://twitter.com/pdxtrailblazers/status/5023965252) that Greg Oden will not play in tonight's exhibition game against the Utah Jazz at the Rose Garden.
Joel Przybilla will start along with Steve Blake, Brandon Roy, Nic Batum and LaMarcus Alridge. Neither Oden or Przybilla took part in Monday's practice, as many Blazers were banged up, and Oden is still nursing a bruised adductor in his inner thigh.

The first preseason games have been a little weird. I haven’t been able to play a lot because of my back problems that don’t allow me to be at my 100%. The summer has been busy and intense, and the NBA preseason started without time to rest after the European Championships, and the NBA is very physically demanding. These days, coach McMillan wants me to rest and get healthy to be better for start of the season. I hope to get well from the back pains soon and be ready for the NBA season start.

I give Oden 4 minutes into Portland's first game of the regular season before he goes down and misses 20+ games with another injury.
