Vick, no. Irvin, while he was a great receiver, I wouldn't put him in the convo as one of the most exciting. I'm going with Barry Sanders. Remember, he did this in a single-back, run-n-shoot offense with a shitty line for most of his years. Amazing.

The question isn't who is the best or who did the most, its who was the most exiting player to watch, who did the craziest shit every week. To that i would say for the WR position, was Lynn Swann. He made the craziest gravity defying catches on a weekly basis.

Wholeheartedly agree with this. Randall made some ridiculous runs as well as some sweet throws. I grew up watching Roger literally run out of his socks. He was also a nasty blocker and could catch the ball out of the backfield as well as anyone

Anyway, Randall had his best years in the late 80's and early 90's, when he was still a threat to run. His later years were irrelevant. I think he actually played until 2000 or so.

Pretty much every Pro QB is going to throw the ball better (with more accuracy) than Vick. But if you just go by throwing styles, you gotta go with Vick. The way he releases the ball is a thing of beauty.

Earl Campbell and Bo Jackson for me. Guys with halfback skills and fullback power are so rare.

The only reason Lynn Swann and John Stallworth made such crazy catches is because their quarterback had a strong arm and no accuracy.

My unbiased pick would be Barry Sanders. Even his two-yard losses were more exciting than most running backs' ten-yard gains. And he was UNBELIEVABLE in college, just a man among boys. Best college player I've ever seen, probably.

there is no question it's Barry Sanders, anyone who disagrees didn't watch him. and he did it against superior talent and defenses than the likes of Sayers, Brown, and Payton.

I prefer to see RBs hang it up before they lose it (LT :bang), but man, I REALLY wish Sanders had played a couple more years, I wish Detroit would have shown a little respect and traded him to a contender when things fell apart between them.
