...for making the Mavs who they are now. We instilled a defensive mindset in Avery and made him even stronger in that perspective. Now he takes what he learned to the Mavs. If donnie were still coaching, you all would still be softer than Shaq's tummy...no...ummm...softer than kobe's "angry" punch.

BTW did anyone see Dirk get punk'd? i may be late because i just saw it today

Only after you thank the Golden State Warriors for PJ Carlesimo who showed Pop how to coach , and get the spurs a ring.

And the song that comes to mind... "Dream On!"

But Dallas has earned it's "d" back... they should get far this year.

I don't think PJ was here in '99.....we won a title then too.

By your logic....too bad Nellie NEVER LEARNED how to coach.

I think the Mavericks are the biggest threat in the West. Not sure if they can win a championship, though. Haven't watched many of their games. But its still fun to make cracks at them. :-)

No, Spurs are the biggest threat in the West! :angel

I know what you mean, though. They're the only team with legitimate playoff experience besides the Spurs (Kings have too many changes on their roster to qualify).

Of course, without Steve Nash, it's going to be interesting to see how their point guard handles the pressure...
