So, the rules are - you can pick any Spurs player on any team, but they only have the talent level for your team that they had while on the Spurs team. You can specify the year for your player (e.g. 2003 Tim Duncan).

Who are your starters ? Don't forget to specify the year for your players.
What about your bench ?

Pop's coaching year - I think 2005 or 2007.

I think we would be pretty beastly if you pick the right players .

Is Stephen Jackson's 2003 as good as Manu's 2005 ?

In general, who has been the better player- Stephen Jackson or Manu Ginobili?

This isn't, imo, transparently clear.

If you are tired of discussing this (because you feel it's been done too often already), then there are other threads.

I'm bored/ ready for the season to start already.

I don't search every time before I start a thread. I look at the the most recent couple of pages.

I especially don't do it when I feel like crap because I have a migraine (praise the gods for vicodin). This was supposed to be a distraction.

I would pick a team of Bonners.

Mel13 and Benefactor would love that. They would become front row season ticket holders immediately if their could ever be 5 Bonners in game.

I think this nailed it, although I would like to see Alvin Robertson in there. I might have to take him over Bowen. Both were defensive specialists, but I think AR had a little more to offer offensively.
