View Full Version : We have the stupidest fans in the world
Fucking Taylor Potts was boo'ed right when he walked out for his first snap. Way to give him confidence.
As soon as Aggie kicker makes a field goal the fan who catches it then has to throw it up on the roof. If not, he is then given crap the rest of the game, and if he does he gets kicked out. My advice....if u see the ball coming towards you don't even touch it!
And then finally, When aggie marching band came out the whole section next to me did the hitler salute while they were marching. Funny but fucking stupid :lol
That being said, Potts should never be allowed to play another down!

That's what you get from a fanbase that throws batteries and tortillas and makes shirts of Michael Vick killing general buffy the dog and so on.

I was at the UT/Tech game last year in Lubbock and the fans rushed the field three times before the game was over. Get your grades up!

Tech has the highest graduation rate among football players in the conference, but that's neither here nor there because we do have some pretty stupid fans.

Well, it MAY just be me (though, I highly doubt it), but the main, if not the ONLY, reason I hate tech is their idiotic fanbase.
(with you possibly the LONE exception...however, you don't seem to have a lot of fans OUTSIDE of me on ST :lol )
i really do not hate tech at all. i've even rooted for them against other teams (texas, OU..)

My Tech friend liked to bring up this statistic.
Here is a press release from TTU's website - http://www.texastech.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/101508aaa.html
Tech football has a 79% graduation rate. Tech's 79 percent rate ranks the program first in the Big 12 Conference, one percentage point ahead of Nebraska and Baylor. Other Big 12 programs rank as follows: Colorado (75%), Kansas State (67%), Oklahoma State (62%), Missouri (59%), Texas A&M (56%), Iowa State (55%), Kansas (53%), Texas (50%) and Oklahoma (46%). Texas Tech has consistently posted one of the top graduation rates in the country, ranking among the American Football Coaches Association's top 30 each of the last eight years.
Additionally, Tech's percentage is third among current USA Today Coaches Poll top 25 programs, behind No. 23 Vanderbilt (91%) and No. 19 Wake Forest (83%). Only nine programs in the top 25 recorded graduation rates higher than the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) average of 67 percent.

If all else fails, they always got that top 3 gradutaion rate to fall back on. They should factor it into the BCS formula.
