Last beard standing.

McDyess saying he's not quite in shape kind gives a glimpse to why Bonner is still probably starting.

Listening to Antonio and RJ, it still feels like a dream the Spurs were able to get players like that in the same off-season.

"It's gonna be a wild ride" - RJ

Can't wait for tomorrow!

This is such a testament to the class organization the Spurs have built. To have Dice and RJ, 2 veteran players, so excited for a season opener is telling us they see something special in this team, and they are motivated as Hell to play and win. I love how they all know there is one goal, and that is the Championship.

One more day and our Spurs will play!:hungry:

Nothing's for sure until tomorrow night, but more than likely, yes, Bonner will start.

Oh my god, if Timmy played tomorrow night with half a beard on national television, I would shit myself.

Monroe has Bonner as a probable starter. The roster doesn't get turned in until shortly before tip so we won't know for sure until then.

I think people have to temper expectations for the team early on, and temper the bile and hatred at pop when he rolls Bonner out there tomorrow.

Yeah I thought I heard that too.

Hmmmm, I thought he said "I'm not gonna start anything." Meaning talking smack about David West.

Oh well, we will find out tonight, Go Spurs! :flag:

It doesn't matter if The Boner starts, he's a decent role-player who starts the game, but more than likely won't finish out the game. It's like Manu off the bench, but in reverse.

That's exactly what I thought. When Mcdyess said, jokingly of course, that his body shuts down at 4pm, I was like "well then it makes sense to start practice in the afternoon so you're body is more comfortable with exerting itself later in the day, which is when most games are played"
