A new firmware is needed to play the newer games such as MW2. It's not out yet and I dont know when its coming out.

New firmware is out 1.61 for Samsung Hitachi and Ben Q(well maybe 2 of those 3 i forget)

You can play on 1.51 with wave 3 patch you can play on 1.6 with iso boot disc.

All of these options will load a wave 4 game.

Alive and kicking. I am not going to play games well before release anymore, though. The Saturday before the Tuesday release is the earliest for now on.

my friends got banned.
so he couldnt play online with that box
so now he gave me $150 and i have his box so he can play online

I could care less if i get banned for playing this mw2 online. I will burn a shitload of games and sell the console and games to somebody for enough to get a new one and just find a buyer who doesnt give a shit about playing online.

I'd actually consider getting a 2nd XBOX 360 and mod it to play the games that have crappy or no multiplayer mode, just offline only.

Many single player games aren't really worth buying, and renting the game is not enough time to beat it.

on craigslist video game section, there are about 200 xbox 360's that suddenly flood the market LOL

1 of them even admits "Banned from XBOX live, but you can play offline!"
