Thoughts on our beloved Mavs last night

The beloved Mavs took care of business against the garbage Clippers 93-84. I can't really comment much, as I was unable to see the game, but it feels good going 2-0 @ Staples and not laying an egg after the big win over the Lakeshow. but you know, I look at these box scores, and I hope this is just a drought for beloved Kidd rather than a sign that he's losing it. I'm also vexed by the teams' woeful 3-PT shooting, as was the case last year... what happened to Dirk/JET's touch from beyond the arc? :cry

Eager to see this team when ALL STAR small forward Josh Howard comes back.

Dirk just isn't a good 3-point shooter anymore. He hasn't shot it well since 07. He can occasionally get hot, but there used to be a time when there was no doubt a wide open Dirk 3-pointer was going in. Now every time he puts up a 3, I'm studying the trajectory to determine what part of the rim it's going to clank off of.

That said, Dirk still played great, and the entire team took care of business in the 2nd half of a B2B. well done :tu
