Dude's running awfully hard for a RB who isn't in a contract year and stuck on a bad team.

I definitely noticed that against the Niners. He was still running hard and showing emotion in the fourth quarter of a blowout. Players like that are the ones who will inevitably lead a team back from the dead

True, he is having a better year than B Jacobs who was a monster last year.

bump:
I admit that before this season i had issues with SJ's maturity and apparent lack of committment.

SJ has matured into a true leader both by example on the field and as a vocal leader(Fuck you Marc Bulger).

Despite opposing defenses keying on him (and him alone) week after week S.Jackson is
3rd in the NFL in rushing yards and 1st in yards from scrimmage among RB's....sick.

The TD's and W's haven't been there but IMO things are finally shaping up in St Louis.
SJ has been the man.
I look forward to him running over the AZ Cardinals on Sunday.

Gotta give love to my boy Steven. My first ever NFL game didn't happen till I was 25 years old and it was in St. Louis at a Rams game. I promptly bought a Steven Jackson jersey...loved the guy ever since...good for him.
