Thank God Scola is picking up the rebounding load with our midget center Hayes and euro tofu Anderson.

I thank Buford every time I see Scola play.

Hayes played some badass d tonight and even showed he gained some offensive skills over the summer with the little left hand hook shot he made over Boozer.Ditto on Andersen though as it looks like he blew his load in the pre-season.

I love Scola, but...

Is that worth starting a thread?

We have DeJuan Blair now, however it's kind of bitter to see Scola playing in rox uniform.

Don't look now but Rockets in sole possession of 1st place in the SW Division. I know it's early but....

Dejuan Blair is not in the same league yet. Scole is a worldwide proven veteran.

It was about time, his first games were not good at all.

Now he needs to be a scoring leader for his team, right now he is not involved enough in the Offense. I've seen him yesterday wide open numerous time without receiving the damn ball.

He doesn't have a PG that would make him score more... why do you think the Rockets were interested in Prigioni over the summer? Brooks lets it fly too much for Luis to be the main weapon on Offense...

I love Luis, but he is not good enough to be a main option in the NBA. Why do you think the Rockets were interested in Prigioni? To be damn backup to Brooks!!

LOL man, this is a trail blazer forum man, not spurs .. they have their own, the first of the forums, the second is for trailblazers, just that some people just troll on it about other teams.

@rest:

scola is a great player and rebounder (he was rebounding really well alongside yao, so without him he will have more boards). He has a j, has a post game and is a proven veteran. I think starting this season people will really change their minds about him. He is a very good pf.

I can agree with that but right now without Yao and T-Mac, rockets must feed him ! You really think Ariza will average 25 pts at more than 50% FG the whole season ? Houston must find interior scoring and like it or not their best option right now is Scola, for me he must take at least 15 shots a game.

Rebounding was supposed to be his weakness, too.
