Spurs bench:47 points > Kings bench: 45 points

Their starters sucked so bad.

Hawes was impressive last year when the Spurs played them. With Caspi and Nocioni, this is not a bad bench at all. Its a shame the starters blow so much. I would think Hawes will be shuffling from starting or from the bench a lot this season.

Kings have a pretty good bench, but outside of Martin the starters suck.

Tyreke Evans is pretty good. He just had a rough night against the Spurs but you could see flashes of brilliance here and there.

I don't know about their bench but they do have the worst starting 5 (minus Kevin martin = bench)

The Kings shouldn't have started their bench against the Spurs...they might of had a chance. :p:

I had Hawes on my fantasy team last year, he made for a hell of a sleeper for me.

i was about as serious as this guy was. he's got the right idea. just a little humor for the board to contrast all the bipolar threads about 82-0. fuck finley. Blair ROY. SAS best 2nd unit in the league. season predictions for based on 1 game, etc.

if you look at the Kings/Grizzlies box score you will also see that the Kings' minutes were as weird as the scoring results. a lot of Spurs fans have a severe case of tunnel vision when it comes to analyzing the game beyond "I love the Spurs, Win/Loss/Points"
also, tyreke evans was/is playing i injured and arguably out of position. westphal started a group he most likely will not start as the season progresses.

aside from the humor this thread is no less pointless or basketball-stupid than all this bonner hate or chicago slumming or whatever next-loss bumming out a bunch of people will predictably do over the course of 100 or so senseless posts.......
