28 points over 3 quarters is not carrying the team where no one scored double figures with the exception of Green in those 3 quarters? You got something you are smoking? You got the win, be happy with it. Besides, Durant is like 21 years old, not 23. He has to work on his conditioning.

I always wondered why the Lakers are always blessed with such an easy start to their season. They get crap loads of home games, and their road games are against scrub teams.

It's because there are other things going on at Staples later in the season. We always have an extended road trip. It all evens out. You play 41 home and 41 away. If you play all the crap teams early...it only means you get to tough ones later.

The Staples Center happens to be the home of the LA Clippers and the LA Kings also. It also hosts Grammy’s, the World Figure Skating Championships and a ton of other events like concerts, circus etc. Each season the Lakers have a “Grammy road trip” which is the equivalent of the Bulls circustrip or the Spurs Rodeo trip. The Lakers Grammy trip is usually the longest road trip any team has each year. They also play on the West coast which means they travel more miles than almost any other team.

i think the lakers play 20 back to backs this season. does this stop your bitching for all the home games?

Nuggets play 22, including 3 sets of b2b games in 10 days during this east coast road trip. Lakers get a hand with a home heavy schedule to start.

Have you been watching us this season? Do you really think you can show up in Houston like you did tonight and win? If you do you'll be sad as hell after the game tomorrow night.

Do you really think Ariza is going to have a good game? Ron is going to be all over him while Kobe will go into "time to destroy my little brother and put him in his place" mode on offense.

How is Houston even going to guard Bynum? He's on fire right now.

Lakers get a fucking 8 game east coast road trip in the middle of winter. Quit your whining.

How is that a hand exactly? So as the season is 3/4 complete and bodies are getting fatigued etc they go on long road trips. In the end... all teams play the same amount of home and away games. Lame argument.

ohhhhh btw..... Lakers have the most back to backs played on the road at 18 games

Lakers should trade Morrison for AI, seriously. He'd be a huge scoring threat off the bench and may be happy doing that on a winning team that has a great chance to win a ring. If he's a cancer and sucks then just send him home, it makes no difference cause Morrison won't see a second of action this year anyways. Salaries match up, and he'll continue to bitch and be a cancer in Memphis cause that team will continue to lose so they probably will want to move him soon.

Yeah Iverson is going to accept coming off the bench for Fisher. AI sure has a history of sacrificing his game for the betterment of the team.

Genius plan there.

He's never been coming off the bench for a winning team. The Lakers have a horrid bench that can't score for jack shit. Why not trade a completely useless player in Morrison for a really good scorer. If it doesn't work out cut him and all is back to normal.

Great news. I guess Pau's injury isn't so bad after all.

Thanks, I didn't see that yet.

I figure he's going to skip the game against his brother to give him King for a day status.

I'm guessing he'll be back Sunday versus Chris Paul

That'd probably be smart. Marc usually owns the shit out of Pau :lol

Because everyone knows it wouldn't work.

Ok, then they should try and trade Morrison to the Bucks for Charlie Bell. Just do something to help the bench. Farmar and Vujacic are complete trash.

Morrison is worth nothing. The guy has done nothing so far, absolutely nothing, besides his stupid NBA live commercial.
