We definitely should beat them with all this rest(which is usually our flaw), but obviously you never know..

I'd be surprised if we beat Portland in game 2, so hopefully we can beat Utah like we should..

Well that is not how things work in the NBA sadly. You still have to play and it is an entirely different game. Utah is still tough to beat in Utah and they still have weapons that can hurt you, even though they are playing poorly.

The Mavs are a damn good team that is clicking early, so saying "because the Mavs beat them" does not really pay proper respect to them.

gasol didn't play and IMO the lakers could not have won the championship without gasol

We will lose. They will not be on the road when we face them.

obviously not..he IS an all-star and their 2nd best player..

the Lakers could not have won the championship without collusion is a more accurate statement..

The Spurs don't have Dirk.

Utah's still a tough place to play but I expect the Spurs to come out sharp after their last nationally-televised outing and the amount of practice they've been able to get in.

The coaching staff should have a little better read on the team now that they've actually been able to view them against legitimate opposition, and their game-plan's and continuity can only benefit given the layoff..

Okay so that means we can not win it by 10?????? We have Tim, RJ, Manu and Tony so that makes up for DIRK IMO! BTW Tim is the best PF ever, Dirk is?????????????:lol:lol

They have three players that can drop 29 in a quarter.

I'm pretty sure Manu dropped 24 straight points against the Hawks.

Dirk's 29 points in a quarter in a meaningless game to start the regular season>>>>>>>>>Duncan's 4 rings..not even close..

I agree, it's stupid to inline our beloved boys in blue with a team so infamous as the Rockets, even though their source of evil is already done.

Do some research, you may not find exactly 29 but you will find something pretty close.

Okay maybe they don't get down fukkin 16 pts so they don't need Tim or anyone to drop 29 in one quarter correct? They will be fine, let them gel and they will be one of the best teams in the league, easily.

Dude, whatever. The Mavs beat the Lakers. The Wizards beat the Mavs. Clearly, it is the Wizards' championship for the taking.

They already have a lot of work to do, having a big roster reload like the Spurs have will take at least until the ASB to fully mesh.

As long as the spurs play spur basketball we can beat any team. But if we play like we played chicago and try to run and gun albeit missing shot after shot we are gonna be in for another teeth kicking. But all in all withe the rest we could take both.
