This has little to do with the politics of allowing same sex marriage as it has to do with bigots who think the union of marriage is theirs.

So a person is a bigot if they follow their religious beliefs and believe that marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman? Does that mean that people are also bigots if they believe adultery or murder is wrong because of their religious beliefs? And aren't you a bigot for judging someone based on their opinions and beliefs?
