Six-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong announced today his retirement from competitive cycling. Interesting.

Am I the only one who think that steroids were involved in this decision? In today's sports world, you are guilty 'til proven innocent.

i think his assertion that he has been 1) tested over 100 times in the last 6 years and 2) that anabolic steroids would be counter productive for an indurance athlete (although i really have no clue if that is actually true) and 3) that he has been planning on retiring for a while now (i heard lance was going to retire in January fior the first time) should convince the public he's clean. Not that he is, but they are compelling arguments.

and also, anyone who dared say he used anything illegal he sued... not like the other athletes who don't do shit about it bc it is true..

some of his former teammates have been busted... if lance had been doping he would've been busted by now...

Somehow, I don't think someone who's had his life on the line via cancer would further abuse his body with steroids.
