XBox question

Thinking about moving up to the 360 elite model. I've heard that Microsoft has corrected the hardware issues with the new elite models that come with the 120gb hard drive.

Anyone have personal experience with this? Are they more reliable and less prone to the dreaded 3 rings? Just trying to get info before making a purchase this Friday.

I own the red elite and it's really quiet and I will sometimes leave it on for over 5+ hours and it'll be warm at best and the reason why they are less prone to the RROD is because they have smaller motherboards ''Jaspers'' which causes less heat

My xbox is completely problem free and that is the edition I have. It is quiet, I run it 10+ hours a day and sometimes night for movies. Never had any issues and its been over 18 months since I got it.

I had mine for a while and gave me teh E74 error... Not a big issue, but I took the oppertunity to order the MW2 ED Xbox.. but it gave me no problems until then
