Today is the 20 year anniversary (GULP) of David Robinson's and Sean Elliott's first game in a Spurs uniform. I was lucky enough to be there and was lucky enough to be at DRobs last game against the Nets.

What an awesome player and an awesome career. Here's the stats from that game. No big deal for a rookie. Just 23 pts and 17 rebounds. Too bad Kareem had just retired. We owed that old dude some payback.

The stratocasters are sweet, though I'm a Gibson man myself (and Höfner, ahem). I think they are a couple different years apart, Gilmour's being a '69 (in that pic, its hard to tell what he's playing honestly) and Hendrix's a 67 model.

You know, on second thought I think I simply assumed that's a stratocaster for gilmour. It's definitely not. Now I have to change the pic damnit. Too much pot in my eyes.
