After my gushing ode to League Pass (http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/The_Baseline/entry/view/41620/in_praise_of_league_pass) yesterday, Chris jokingly accused me of being on the NBA payroll. Not quite, but they have given us the remarkable power to give away one free Broadband account. All you have to do is tell us, in the comments section, what team or player requires you to have League Pass Broadband (http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/online.html) in your life. The winner will be selected by a council of the Baseline elders.

The more colorful, the better, and while I'm not discouraging you from obvious answers, that definitely makes your climb to the top more uphill-ish. Oh, and don't even come with "I left Miami but want to watch my Heat" unless you're stationed in a research facility in Upper Tuva, or something similarly fantastic.

For example, I am going to spend most of this year watching Brandon Jennings, even though his Bucks team might as well be a bunch of papier mache chickens and his coach is my sworn enemy. What I've seen of him so far has me convinced not only that he can be an elite PG, but that he's also proven a fast study at the NBA game, and seems to get along with Skiles. I look forward to either seeing him fulfill his potential or crash and burn in a way that gives birth to its own kind of legend. Unless it just involves clashing with Skiles. That would be boring.

Straight from the heart. Now, your turn.

Some disclaimer/legal verbiage:

Does the winner have to gush all over a Spurs player?
