Spurs simply do not have the size inside to guard the paint. It's been like this for numerous seasons now.

Spurs are relying on.
An aged Duncan who is not the same. This is fact.
Old Dice.
Old Ratliff
An undersized rookie.
Worthless soft Red Haired man on the defensive end.

Aged, Old, Old, Rookie, Bonner. Those are your options.

You can't win a championship relying on Jump-shooting and giving up the inside like a $2 dolla whore.

07-08 Cels center Kendrick Perkins is 6'9, and they relied on aged KG, pierce and Allen.

03-04 Piston's center Ben Wallace is 6'8.

Last year Houston's center Hayes did a great job on defense, he is 6'6.

Excuses versus explanations. We've started out the regular season even worse in years past and had less talented teams and still won a championship.

I think the point is Ben Wallace and Kendrick Perkins are undersized. I've watched Kendrick Perkins for a number of years, he sucked until the last couple of years. He took a significant amount of time to get to where he is today. Blair is much further along. Just saying.
