I know it's only his third game back, but I don't remember him looking this bad in the other two.......

I'm slightly concerned.

the grizzlies are trying to make other people beat them. before he even gets the ball they are shading the pass and bringing the double team.

watch closer.

playing Tim Duncan right now,is the worst thing your team could do.

Doesn't your coach know he is just one more injury away from retirement?
Is this game that important?

You could say the same for Dirky Poo.

Difference is, Tim needs to play to get back in rythm. We'll see if it works once the playoffs start.

His jumping is compromised. Stromile never gets that putback over the top of a healthy Tim. You can see it in his rebounding numbers (7,7,6 in three games), and that's as good a reason as any to start Nazr throughout the playoffs. He's a fucking vacuum cleaner.

If Tim Duncan can't get his rythm back after 10 minutes of the first game of the playoffs? Then he better go back to the swim team,

Dirks injury is not as bad as Tim's But I see your point ,I don't like seeing him on the court also.

Only thing I can figure is that Pop thinks Tim needs to be on the floor more. Wonder how many minutes he'll play on Wednesday?

Tim's timing is off and he's picking up fouls on shots he'd normally block. (There were also a couple terrible calls.) I don't think he'll be "up and ready" until mid-way through the first series.

Yeah it is concerning that Duncan is not progressing rapidly.

Ginobili, Parker, Mohammed, Horry, Barry, Robinson will have to pick up serious slack for the first couple games against the Nuggets.

Tim is not playing that well, he is obviously not 100% yet. Let's hope he'll get better in the next couple of days.

Mouse - don't you have your own problems with your team?
I would be worried if Dallas could handle the Rockets in the 1st round.

When it's already a fact that your team will be the 2005 NBA Champions why would anyone have to worry?

That is the problem with Spur fans , They need something to worry about all the time, or else they don't feel taking all that Prozax was worth it.

Other than trying to get playoff tickets? I don't see any problems.:lmao

Get past Denver then we might talk again...

Duncan looks pretty darn good to me after missing almost a month with a bad ankle sprain. He's still making shots, especially ones that he didn't make this entire season(like his runners for example). He's found some rhythm i can tell, but when you have a bad ankle sprain, your gonna try to protect it and not be as aggressive. He looks fine to me.

Well Mouse all I can see is that you have the problem with the Spurs.
Why is that?

Could you explain it to me?

Ps. Go, buy a ticket and be happy with your Cuban team. If those last 2 games in Dallas will make you happy, than I am happy too.

Why is it people on this board confuse "facts" with fiction? :angel

Duncan is further along physically than he is mentally. Look at him in the open court handling the ball...looks very good. No one around to step on and f up his ankle again. In traffic, under the basket he is still very tentative.....only natural, he is worried about re-injury. Once he gets past that he will be fine. A lot of it is in his head now. Rythm smythm

That is kind of a long story and I get tired of having to post it over again, Spell check is no fun when you spell like I do, hell it takes longer to get past spell check than posting the original topic.
Go to a GTG and I will tell you the sad but true story over a beer or two.
