Did anyone catch this series on HBO? I sort of accidently watched the entire thing the last few weeks, I think it was only 6 or 7 episodes. It really grew on me and Ted Danson's character was great. Best thing I've seen him in I think. If it comes back for a second season, I'll watch. :)

One of the funniest shows on television.

It was actually renewed for a second season a few weeks back, which is pretty quick for a new show that hadn't even finished airing its first season.

No I'm a pretty inconsistent TV watcher, so I have a hard time following a normal length series. But a friend told me that she thought it was Danson's best character. I may check it out.

It's not great, but it has the potential to be a really good series. Generally, it takes a couple of seasons for writers to find their groove. So, hopefully it becomes a little less uneven and consistently funny.

I love it. I happened upon it randomly as well and got the whole family hooked. Ted Danson is the best at this point. I think it'll take a while to develop too, but hopefully it'll get there.

But, then again, I do have a soft spot for awkward Jewish guys (Jason Swartzman).

Danson has been the shit ever since Becker. The rest of the show isn't as strong, but I still watch it sporadically. Not quite appointment television at this point.

Are the seasons on DVD? We got rid of HBO opting for Showtime right after the first season. I loved it. I'd love to catch the last however many seasons on DVD.
