They are winning the whole damn thing.

They ain't the sexiest, but they get things done.

I'm a Pats fan, but I have to admit, Steelers are the shit.

Is this our weekly "overreact to one team" game?

Agreed. They just beat an average Denver team.

Not at all

I know Denver sucks, it wasn't based on one single game

4-4 is average at this point in the season. 6-2 is not.

I wouldn't go that far yet. But they showed some good signs. The D is still a game-changer, and has been significant in beating 2 division leaders so far (Minny and Denver). The improvement in the running game surprised me ... I'll be ecstatic if this keeps up. Big Ben will always be clutch and the O-line seemed adequate this week.

If they beat Cincy next week they are in great shape in the conference. Both of Pitt's losses have been by 3 points apiece .. that's how close they are to being undefeated (although being undefeated is not necessarily a good thing). It's a pity they don't play Indy or NE in the regular season as that would have been a good barometer. Barring injuries they have as much of a chance as these two teams to come out of the AFC. If the running game holds up, they would have the least weaknesses among AFC teams.

1 they beat the vikings,
2 they are winning the hole damn thing because of their depth on their roster, their weapons on offense, and their fucking defensive mastermind dick lebeau.
3 their is no one who can replicate what they do
4 and their is no one who can stop them when it matters

It's pretty obvious how old the Bronco's secondary is.

Beating a non-playoff team like Denver is nothing special. This just makes me even more crazy that Brady picked the Broncos game to throw passes like Jamarcus Russell all day long.

That said, Rashard Mendenhall is about 10000x more impressive than I thought he'd be.

They're such an average team without Polamalu..It'd be like the Ravens not having Ray Lewis when he was in his prime, so obviously the defense is hurt right now if they are Kansas City and Oakland is putting up that many points against them then you know something is wrong.

You can't pin it all on health. They were more than good enough to manage. Losing to teams like the raiders, chiefs, browns and bears is just unacceptable.

Average. What do you consider 8-8? And that's after starting 6-0.
