14 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists

And people wonder why a point guard who can rebound as well as I do has the nickname "White Magic".

When the starters are out White Magic will be the one hammerin' while the Hebrew Hammer will be the one getting nailed.

I don't think if you added everyone else in world's most fun moments up together they would amount to half as much fun as Steve Nash has during any given 10 second interval.

sons white folk going crazy right now! lots of white players actually doing good ... Nash assisting like crazy, Goran dominating the Hornets, Dirk getting all kinds of help from the refs boosting his PPG number up higher than it really should be. wow sons Dirk is averaging almost 10 free throw attempts per game! sons I haven't seen a white player get that much help from the refs at the line since Karl Malone.

Saw you post on ASFN about how the Lakers are gifted their schedule. You cannot be serious can you? Yeah... But I'm guessing you are.

You do know that all teams play the same equal amount of home and away games right? :lol

You do know that the Lakers share the building with the clips and kings , grammys etc right?

You do know that the home games up front only means the bulk of the away games will come in the the 2nd half when fatigue and injuries are more prevelent right?

You do know that the Lakers played more back to backs last year than any team and have either the 2nd or 3rd most back to backs this year right?

And that they play more of the top 10 teams on the 2nd of those back to backs than any other team right?

You do know that the Lakers regularly have one of if not the longest road trips due to the Grammys every year, this year being no exception right?

.... or, is it just much easier to claim bullshit preferential treatment that is so in character for all the butt hurt suns fans that just cant grasp that their 0 for life in championships is a reality... and their doing as opposed to the persecution that is for lack of a better word, imaginary.

So typical. :lmao

Wasn't it you just a day or two ago who said that Suns fans can't complain about having no rest between the Hornets and Lakers? If you're going to take the no-excuses policy, you better stick to it. I've seen you post this same diatribe about how hard the Lakers' schedule is several times. If you can defend the Lakers' tough road schedule and # of back-to-backs, Suns fans should have the right to complain about the Suns' amount of rest (0 days) compared to the Lakers' amount of rest (3 days).

I don't think Cobbler is complaining, I think he's just sayin that the Lakers don't have this extremely easy schedule people are claiming Stern gifted for them.

It's possible. Just seems like he's been doing a lot of excusing lately.

I get what your saying but those comments about the Lakers schedule have only been in response to people saying the Lakers have an unfairly easy schedule.

Im not making any excuses at all. This was in reply to a post that was implying the Lakers were gifted an easy schedule. I was just pointing out the obvious that if you have a heavy home stretch, it's offset at some time by an away one. No doubt on this matchup the lakers have the benifit and should be more rested. But to imply the league made concessions for them is absurd to me. Again, I am not making any excuses at all. Just informing the uninformed.

Correct!

I think you would be hard pressed to find me making excuses for schedule or injuries. This was a direct reply to that claims the lakers have gotten a break. If it soundedl like an excuse... then I just didnt express it well enough.

you never heard me make excuses for the Lakers loss to the Celts in 08. I tipped my hat and said they outplayed us and deserved it. Now if a Celts fan would say we didnt deserve our title last year cause KG was hurt... then for sure I would reply in kind that the same scenario happened the year prior.

There's only one fan base on this board notorious for the excuses about why their team lost (and it ain't the Suns or the Lakers).

I dont totally buy into the whole back to back BS anyway. I mean come on. These are elite athletes in their prime years. I've played in tourneys where we will play 5 games in a weekend.

IMO, it's an over-hyped statistic.

+1

Maybe 4 games in 5 days over a road trip has a minor effect, but if a player cares about his conditioning as much as Nash or Rip Hamilton, B2B's shouldn't be an issue.

The first part. Mavfan doesn't make too many excuses, just look at tonight. They all expressed displeasure with their team and tipped their hat to the Spurs.

I think back-to-backs are harder on older players. Nash and Hill both seem to lose a step in the 2nd of a back-to-back despite their conditioning.

The younger players, like 30 or younger, should have no problem playing a couple nights in a row.
