IMO, this was a turning point for Jefferson. Even though they lost the game, the team was pissed and RJ was pissed, and he knew he'd have to be more aggressive instead of deferring to the established Spurs going forward.

It was sweet, despite the loss. And I knew we'd get a better Jefferson after that.

There is so much hype about RJ's dunks because the monster dunks had some serious attitude on them. I mean he is yelling and looks really fuckin pissed. Then the dunk seems to talk to the person who is about to be posterized... "Yea, I am gonna take a huge shit on you... and there isn't anything you can do about it!" That is why I am hyped about them.

I can't really speak for anyone else, but there was a time that every Spurs game had several highlight reel quality dunks, and I myself got pretty spoiled by that. Aside from Manu when he's healthy, it's been a rather long dry spell since Parker's dunk against the Rockets.

And both of those dunks by RJ were very good dunks no matter which team does them.
