OK guys...the breeding season is officially starting and the deer will be acting stupid...I had three bucks in my back yard this morning chasing a little doe...The last time I saw them they were running across Vance Jackson through the morning rush hour traffic. If you don't want to get your car banged up drive a little slower and keep an eye out for them...

I just got my car back last week from tagging a deer at 60 mph. I was fine. The car not so much. The deer much less so.

Are there elk in Texas?
Just a few small groups out in mountains in West Texas. Nothing like what you find up in Utah and the surrounding states.
I probably saw more elk this summer in than exist in Texas.
