Ryan Adams has 3 releases coming out this year. That's pretty awesome. I dig that list, I'm liable to like every single thing you listed.

I heard Aimee Mann play some songs off that album, and they sounded pretty nice.

Really can't wait for the NiN album or the concert I'm gonna see them three times on this tour wohooo, you forgot to add Tool to that list, new album due this year late.

Here's to hoping the new Tool cd doesn't suck as much ass as the last one (or maybe I'm just getting old)

Unless they released an album when I was sleeping, you've got to be on crack. Lateralus or however the hell it was spelled sucked ass.

Lateralus was a great album up there with Aenima imho, it was about healing and connecting and not so angst or dark as the other three. You prolly think the last nin album sucked also "the fragile" and only listen to the downward spiral.

Please refrain from comparing Ryan Adams with Bryan Adams. Ryan is 349384038439 times better than the other.

The Fragile was also a great album. Nice call.

Lateralus was incredible. Musicly that album is way better than anything ever put out by Tool. It flows from the first track untill the end, it's a complete album.

I liked Lateralus as well. Very Prog Metal... not for everybody, though. I would agree that AEnima was much more accessable. The difference is that you could pick individual songs off of AEnima to listen too, whereas I can't listen to Lateralus unless I go from beginning to end. But I like albums like that.

In your opinion maybe. But I see your point since I've never even heard of ryan Adams. Bryan Adams was good music not this crap they call music these days.

Well to each their own, but I'd rather go deaf than have to listen to a BA cd.

Bryan Adams!

One of his first big hits back around 1984. Extremely lame video included.

Think big-time rock stars are touchy about their egos? They've got nothing on indie darling Ryan Adams who ejected a fan from a show Tuesday (Oct. 15) after the fan made a joke about Bryan Adams. During a lull in the music, an up-close fan requested "Summer of '69," calling out a classic-rock hit by Canadian rocker Bryan Adams. Apparently that sort of joke cuts like a knife: Adams flipped out, spewed obsenities and demanded that the house lights be turned out. Once Nashville's Ryman Auditorium was lit, Adams found the heckler, personally refunded the $30 ticket charge out of his own pocket, and refused to play until the man left the building.

On the way out, the man was stopped by the venue's manager who apologized for Adam's strange behavior.

That's messed up. I'd be insulted too, but that's nuts. Won't stop me from getting the new releases.

Eh, I go to away for a while and someone dare impunes Tool's greatess? Please they we one of the only semi mainstream bands out there that don't dance to the tune of what a producer tells them to play. They are a thinking mans band and the Pink Floyd of our era.

A pox on you for your blasphemy against Tool give me five hail Maynards and slake this urge to smote you... :lol

Word to the wise, on stage... keep your mouth shut and play. ;)

I should clarify... don't preach between songs.

Or talk about how much "pussy" you're going to get after the show, as the band I saw Saturday did.

I like albums like that too, but Lateralus sounded forced and unimaginiative to me. I can make a 70 minute long song too, but that doesn't make it good.

I recommend The Mars Volta - I put their stuff above Lateralus, much more musical, much more creative, much more melodic.
