what i dont get is everytime the lakers beat a team with an injured star player, lakerfan's response is "it is what it is, dont make excuses!". everytime the lakers lose to a team all i get is excuses "we didnt have bynum, we dont have gasol, lakers dont get up for scrub teams, this is becuase of the back to back"

Sounds familiar to something the Mavs had to deal with (and our game went to OT). Go ask whorenet fans, they seem to have the date memorized.

Buddy I've always been a broncos fan, your the bandwagonner. I've sat through the likes of Bobby Brister,Brian Griese,Jake Plummer and Orton is by far the worst,Im gonna root for him because I'm a broncos fan first but Orton is horrible and is holding the broncos back

believe me this will be the only "title" the Thuggets ever win. to bad they could only do it with Gasol out and on a B2B and with bad calls from the refs and Artest getting a bunch of fouls.

This reminded me of the second half that the Lakers had against the Pistons in 2003. That was a back-to-back night as well (they played Chicago and lost). That was when Chauncey Billups turned on the jets around the rim, Mehmet Okur did this clever fake-a-three-drive-to-the-rim in the fourth, and Ben Wallace sent back Shaq's shot...twice.
That was a hoop and a holler from the bench in a regular-season game. But a year later the Lakers wouldn't win on the Palace floor in the Finals. Be careful about planning those parades in LA just yet.

Everyone has troubles on the back to back's. Our Spurs have to be about the worst when it comes to b2b's. Denver is the hardest place of all to play the 2nd game with the altitude.

Denver got the 'mo' going in the 3rd qtr. and carried it over to the 4th. The game was good for the Denver fans who watched their season get cut short last season by your Lakers in the WCF's. Denver is pretty good when they get hot and play a little defense. A long season though.

Those laker fans who use excuses are just as big of pussies as the the fans from the other teams that use them.
We had a bad game... the nugs came to play and played well...

Especially when they are waiting for you (they didn't play last night), gunning for you, have the altitude to their advantage, and the Lakers played in another city last night.
Still, it was a nice win for the Nuggets.

Your right eyeh8u. I've also seen that. Just don't paint all Laker fans with one stroke.
We are still a better team than the nuggets w/o Pau. No reason for us to lose that game and if we lost it, we probably deserved it.
Just remember last year w/o Manu and an injured T.D. the Spurs were still a better team than the Mavs in my opnion. Goes both ways.

I assume this thread is meant to be sarcastic or all in fun. It's only game # what, 10 and sulking & excuses already???
btw, your team is 8-2 and won back 2 backs w/o your 2nd best player recently. by the way some of your fellow fans have been talking recently, sounds like you don't even need Gasol.

Yep. I could have sworn many Laker fans were like Mavs beat you no excuses even without star player Manu and gimping Duncan. It was a bit ridiculous.
I don't believe any knowledgeable basketball fan with half a brain really expected any other outcome? So, Spurs lost fair and square then but if LA fans can dish it out, then man up and take it. You just lost-big deal- it happens with or without Gasol.

Hmm, the Spurs were stomped in the PLAYOFFS, while the Lakers lost a meaningless November regular season game. Yes the two are comparable.
Oh and the Lakers beat the Spurs in 08 without their All-Star Andrew Bynum. :lol :lol
