Every successful talk show (no matter the format) dumps far more
calls and callers, EVERY DAY, than they ever put on. WHY, because
less than 2% of listeners ever call a station, and of that 2%, the
majority never get on the air, because they just aren't compelling,
interesting, or entertaining, enough. Each host is given that
lattitude, with their Program Director's daily input.
CLIFF, if you aren't getting on, it's because you are not being
perceived as being someone with something to add. No more or less of
a reason. SORRY!

Maybe you shouldn't call Jay Howard a racist. He may be a lot of
things but come on be serious.
Just because he didn't want to hear bad things about DiMaggio
doesn't make it a black/white thing. My best guess is that Joe was
probably one of his heroes growing up and he didn't want to tarnish
that image. Who knows though. If I were Jay, I wouldn't respond to
that either.
It sounds more like a problem that you have in seeing things only as
black, white, latino, etc. Did that ever cross your mind?
Calling someone racist especially when they are known in the
community is like calling a bomb threat to a public area.
You should stop lighting these fires and try to give a decent sports
take. Maybe then people will take you seriously and you might get
back on the air.
