Finally about eight or so months ago I tried a new size on a whim (after seeing several makeover shows and realizing that all of the fit problems they pointed out were familiar to me) and it made all the difference in the world. One of these days I'll finally go in for a proper fitting.

On a whim, I went to Nordstrom The Rack (highly recommended for bigger girls..they have great left overs) and found the best fitting bra ever ever ever. Have it on now. Bra fittings are a perk of shopping at a particular location. It's kind of like shopping at a Golf Shop and knowing that sales associate will bring you the perfect club that will make you golf like Tiger.

I know there are good bra fitters out there, this one wasn't a great.

Check Barenecesities.com and Biggerbras.com. That's where I get mine. Once you find the right brand then you can pretty much bet the size will match throughout the styles. If not you can always send them back, right? The one I just bought is usually closer to $60 and got it for $44. Just watch for special codes and promos.

:lol Actually I think this is a rather common situation. I got fitted at VS once and I was miserable in what they recommended---had all sorts of sharp edges and corners digging into tender areas. So now I do Dillard's for bras. The Wacoal fitter visits there a couple of times per year, I love the bras and prices so that's pretty much all I wear.
