That's why he plays in crunch time. The most important ingredient to a successful basketball team is having more veteran craftiness. It trumps trivial things like shooting ability, rebounding, athleticism, the ability to handle passes, the ability to throw passes, and defensive fundamentals.

JJ Barea gives us a crafty veteran presence that Rodrigue Beaubois doesn't have. But don't worry Mavs fans, Roddy is coming along at a much faster pace than expected. Early projections from Mark and I see Roddy developing adequate veteran craftiness for crunch time in about 7 more years!
