NIOSA vs. Oyster Bake

I've been going to these two fiesta events for some time now, more NIOSA than OB. I have to tell you that NIOSA is much better than OB! I went this year to OB, and maybe I'm getting older, but there were too many kids. Duh! I know it makes sense, since it is on STMU campus! NIOSA is just a better organized event. But the women at NIOSA are much better looking, better dressed, and more mature ( closer to my age ). I went to NIOSA last night and had a great time. Hope to go back on Friday!

I 've never talked shit about TimVP. I did talk shit about Kori early on in FSP beginning but that was because of bad info passed onto me via people at SR. I should of never did so because Kori was probably... no, she was the best Mod that site had. She reinstated or helped get me reinstated so many times after being banned during my board fights with Sequ. But that was then and this is now.

I work at Niosa for one day a year for about two hours, and that's more than enough. It's the only way I would go again. Our booth isn't in a crowded area, and people can't intrude on your space. Also, there is a lot of food/beer bartering between booths.

As for just going and being amongst the crowds, it's awful.

usually everyon starts to show up around then, and Im WAYYYYYY to claustrophobic to be in large crowds. So, if you hae never been and would like to go, that is the best time to do it w/o large masses of humanity.

I hit oyster bake for the first time last Saturday, overall I would say I enjoyed it. We got there about 1pm and just set out some blankets on the soccer field. Early on it was easy to get beer, food take a whiz. Later in the day/evening, it started to get more crowded-so we took off around 7pm. That kind of timing worked out pretty good. I think you just have to go in with the assumption that everything is going to be overpriced, and I need to remember to bring a fold out chair next time!

I liked NIOSA a few years ago. There were pretty girls there. I didn'y like Oyster Bake. It was hot and people were mean.

Enough of that. Seriously, both events get shittier the older I get. About 3 years ago I went to Oyster Bake and had a few beers. Well, after a while I had to take one of those eye-crossing, very relieving beer pisses. Thing was, there was a 30 minute line to use the 10 pot-o-potties on that whole campus. I thought I'd beat the crowd and take a piss behind the port-o-potties, except there were 4 cops back there. I went back in line and got teary eyed because I had to piss so bad. To make thinsg worse, people were bumping into me. So I guess I what I'm trying to say is, fuck Oyster Bake.

This is the guy who tries to use the port-a-potties at the entrance...and stands in line at the very first one.
I've had no trouble finding the ones more to the center of the events. As a matter of fact even this weekend I noticed people in line at the very first johns...while there were empty ones if you kept following the line of johns. I thought that was hilarious. :spin

I went to Niosa on college night and you were packed in their like sardines! Its crazy. And Oyster bake just plain blows. I avoid Fiesta altogether. Its just gone downhill. Sucks when you can't even go to the carnival on a nice night anymore cause if you look at one of the little gangsters the wrong way you get shot :makemyday
