View Full Version : I think McGrady will be traded soon

Houston doesn't want McGrady anymore, and McGrady wants out, it's obvious. By the way the team is playing now, there is no way to fit him in without screwing up the chemistry, not even off the bench. Adelman said himself that he had no idea how McGrady could fit into the rotation. He has no value based off of what he can do on the court right now, but he is an expiring contract. Kevin Martin would probably be a target once he returns from his injury, if Monta Ellis would play the 2, then I could see that happening. But I would rather see him traded for a big man, but not many are out there to be had, and HELL NO TO OKAFOR! It should be an interesting next couple of weeks

Kevin Martin + Kenny Thomas makes sense. McGrady's salary is tough to match. Ray Allen (expiring) + filler (expirings) if McGrady comes back and plays well? Simmons + Battie + Yi? Biedrins and Claxton for TMac and Andersen?

Comparing him to AI is plain stupid. Tmac has never publicly dispayed stupid acts of selfishness like AI has, he took alot of shots and put up alot of points in Orlando because he simply had no help. Kobe did the same after Shaq left town and didnt have Pau, he had a season were he averaged like 35 ppg. Give Tmac help and he will get rid of that selfish label much like Kobe has done.

Thats all assuming Tmac can go back to being the player he once was.

Houston is not going to trade McGrady, they want his 20+ million dollar expiring contract. When he is healthy and if he can't find a way to fit into the system they'll simply tell him to take his ass home......he has absolutely no leverage. KMart is nothing, but a younger version of McGrady. A player who puts up empty stats on losing teams.......no thank you. (same thing goes for Monta Ellis)

They are not gonna let him walk for nothing. Morey wants Joe Johnson, and he is a long shot. They have to get something for McGrady, simple as that

The Rockets aren't going to get anything of value for McGrady. It's over with. Just part with him for anything at this point. Trade for other players with expiring contracts. Just part ways already.

:lol Atlanta is not trading Joe Johnson.....and Houston WILL get something for him....they'll get a FA with his expiring contract. McGrady's expiring contract is worth more than McGrady is or anything they'll be able to get for him in a trade this year (hell no to Kmart and Ellis). Morey has already said he's gearing up for the 2010 FA period (possibly Chris Bosh). McGrady is not going to be traded, they'll simply let him expire.

Scola and Battier will be on the market before Houston gets rid of all that cap relief.

Joe Johnson is a free agent, I never said they were trading for him....And the fact that fans think the Rockets can get a top notch free agent are gonna be sorely disappointed, simple because they do not have enough money.

How do they not have enough money?

They'll have plenty of money to sign a top FA......plus Chris Bosh is from Texas, he is a realistic target for Houston.

When did the FO ever come out and say they were "irked". That was just a opinion of a writer. Also besides that....nothing about that says McGrady is trying to get out of Houston.

Because you're a bitch and I don't want my real dick to get involved when I fuck you, instead my index finger is being used and although the finger is relatively thin, it's still well enough to give satisfying pulses since your vagina's been squeezed narrower than normal by the swollen pussy which was infected with numerous germs and bumped 3 times its previous size.
