I saw Tony Parker at a strip club once, I cant remember which one it was, it was a friends bachelor party and we where all pretty wasted. It was in the VIP section.

We paid for their next round of drinks, Tony came by, thanked us and congradulated my friend, then 5 minutes later my friend (the one getting married) puked all over the place and we where kicked out. :lol Thats about all I remember from that night. Good times.

This was before he got with Eva, hell I think it was before Desperate Housewives.

George Hill is always at Buffalo Wild Wings on 281 and 1604.

I see Bruce Daily at his spa by my gym on the north side. He always offers us chocolate when we're in his spa.

I see Tony every now and then at La Cantera, he and eva eat a lot at Kona Grill.

I always see Timmy and His challenger eating over by the dominion.

If you frequent these places, in my experience you will eventually run into them, especially at the end of the season.

No you cannot. Don't you know? Games were played during the "off-season". Those images you saw in the arena were actually holograms recorded after they played the game. The results were also doctored and the commentators had practiced their lines for "game time" so that they at least had an idea on what to say when players like Jennings scored 55, when they were trying to promote the next Iverson.

The best place to meet the players is at the railing before games, although I have been fortunate and have seen several of the players around town over the years:

Beno at Best Buy
Bruce at the airport ( he and my mom had the same flight from Houston)
The entire Spurs team in the lobby of their hotel in Houston- two years in a row! :fro

Another good place to meet the Spurs players is at their various public appearances throughout the year.

I saw Tim Duncan at Northwoods several years ago.

I saw Manu at Zio's over by Northwoods that same year.

I used to live about a two blocks away from George Gervin (he lives in Green Spring Valley off of Bulverde road in a very modest house) and saw him regularly washing his Mercedes.

But you'll bounce into players if you keep your head up and eyes open.

In Oklahoma City I met Chris Paul on 4 occasions (bowling alley, T-Mobile, two restaurants, downtown). Saw Shaq, Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem in an OKC Mall. Saw Pau Gasol downtown (when he was with the Griz). Met Byron Scott, David West and Barry Sanders all in the same Lowe's store on different days.

You can't really seek them out, just be aware when you're out and keep your eyes open. It'll happen eventually.

If you live around the 410 to 1604/10 area you are bound to eventually see a Spur eventually I've had a few "sightings" here and there but nothing to boast about...actually I think most of them have already been written about.

The only other one to mention is the one time in 2007 when my mom called me in the middle of class to tell me saw Beno at PetsMart on De Zavala with his dog. She got him to sign an Easter card for me. I think I *still* have it hanging somewhere.

I've met A LOT of athletes, never any Spurs though..I doubt I would ever see any of them around NY..

2 of my friends claimed to have seen a bunch of Spurs at a nightclub and a restaurant in Toronto on separate occasions..I believe the restaurant story since I heard it from other places, don't know about the club..
