So far this season Jennings is better, i dont know what happen to Rose this year, he doesnt have a jumpshot, and he doesnt take it to the hoop, with his size and speed he should be able to take on anybody but he doesnt, he is not agressive enough

jennings.

Rose has looked pretty crappy this season :(.

But every 2nd year PG does that, its like a wall. I'm sure he will be back up to norm next season

Derrick Rose looks like he has already hit his sophomore slump. With his speed and strength though he can take the ball to the basket at will and I would take him over Jennings at this point.

Jennings is doing amazing though. For us to have this discussion proves it. (I picked him up on my fantasy team the day he scored 55!:downspin:)

In KBPs own words, it's all American lies, Jennings played in Europe last year. He shit, couldn't hit an Ocean. So, Euroleague much best superior to NBA, you ignorant bastards.:pimpslap

If I had to choose one, I'd take Jennings, but it's the intanglibles that I see--his leadership, his swagger--that make me choose him. If I wanted a leader, I'd take the rook.

For your information, Rose is battling back from an ankle injury or something. However, even if he is 100%, so far into this season, rookie Jennings would shit on rookie Rose. Rookie Jennings might even shit on 2nd year healthy Rose, that is how good he is. The best part is, you can put Jennings into the 10 game MVP talks, and no one would call you insane. That is how good Jennings is.

Rose also did well his first 10 games of the season. So what Jennings scored 55 points against a mediocre Golden State team that is ranked 27th in Defense. Ya its still pretty impressive considering he's a rookie but lets see him drop 36 on the best defensive team in the League like what ROse did in the playoffs first round last year.....

did anybody watch the last bulls-bucks game? it was really exciting to see the rose/jennings matchup. hard to say who came out on top, from memory i think it was jennings who scored some clutch buckets.

Too bad the Bucks lost. Rose took over in the 2nd half but Jennings held his own.

LOL, Big Baby and Kevin Garnett is a huge difference defensively.

Big Baby was playing in that series and game. Plus Celtics entered the playoffs still as one of the top defensive teams in the NBA without Garnett.

Last season was last season. This season has been a drifferent animal. Rose may not even be the MVP of the Bulls now.

Thats because his minutes has been greatly reduced. He plays only 32 minutes compared to 39 last year.... thats a 7 min difference. You can do alot in 7 minutes....

Useless information of the night: Jennings just beat the highest rookie total points through 9 games for all active players. Shaq's record goes down. 19 points, 7 assists so far.

Rose's 20ppg 8 apg in the first round playoffs > Jennings 25 ppg first 10 games.....

But if Jennings can maintain that 25 ppg throughout the season I'll be the first to admit Jennings > Rose but until then Rose is on top

Who cares about last playoffs, this is a new season and right now,

Jennings is way ahead on Derrick Rose.

I just want everyone to be aware that we haven't seen a rookie put up 25 ppg in a rookie season since 1965-66. It's ten games, but this is something Allen Iverson didn't do, Michael Jordan didn't do it, KG didn't do it, and neither did Shaq, Magic, Larry, Kareem.

Rick Barry was the last to do it.

If he ticks up his rebounds a little, he'll join Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan, and Lebron James as the only rookies with at least 20 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds in their first season.

This is epic. Tape the games this kid plays in. He reminds me of Zeke.
