Not his regular suit, in actual uniform
"Great scene pregame. Minutes after Adelman said again McGrady is out and there was "no timetable" for his return, he shows up in uniform"

Screw getting hurt--like Penny before him--does he have any game left in his bones?

Better be careful and don't trip on a bench. You don't want a foot fracture this early in the season.

Yay so T-Mac is on the way back. And look it's the 18th right when he said he would be targeting.

If he decides to buy into the system, it will open up a lot of easy oppurtunities for his teammates, and we will kick a lot of ass in the west. Do you people realize we are giving the top teams hell without a superstar? Mcgrady is going to guarantee us AT LEAST a fifth seed in the playoffs if he returns to form. :smokin

I say he disrupts the chemistry because he's played with these guys before. I could be wrong and he could tread lightly. He could be studying up on where players like the ball and adjusting his game to the new Rockets style and hierarchy. But when we lost our point guard in Pee-Wee are coach told us to all share the passing responsibilities. We ran drill after drill of how to counteract a press, stay aware of where the ball was and who had it, and it opened up the court for all of us. It galvanized us and made us more of a team because we all were in the same foxhole.
When our point guard came back he stopped emphasizing that stuff and we fell back into our complacent roles. I know the Houston Rockets have Rick Adelman and not my pee-wee coach, but he only paid lip-service to continuing that 'team play.' When the point guard came back, it became his responsibilities to find us, not the other way around. We were the same players again and we started losing again.

^Man, I hope that doesn't happen. If he can't adjust, sit him until he's traded.

Say what you want but I know that Les Alexander and Morey really like T-Mac the player. They might not like he tends to shoot off his mouth before he thinks but as a player, they do like him. They like both like Yao too.
Morey last year said, that you could see he couldn't jump off his bad knee and he knew something was wrong. Luckily, the GM and the owners don't listen to fans and they try to put the best players on the floor. Right now, I think T-Mac comes back strong and plays out the rest of the year.
As for his future with the Rockets, well that's another story. If T-Mac comes back like vintage T-Mac, there is a good chance that the Rockets resign the guy. If he's below average and plays like he did last year, then T-Mac will be unloaded. $20 mil for an average player is just too much.
