Don't.

The Spurs have had plenty of opportunities to win this one.

I saw one critical non-call in that overtime...

my only beef with the refs is the fact that Dirk gets treated like German Jesus....and Duncan gets the crap beat out of him and gets not even half the love.

i get the Superstar treatment......but give to both Superstars, not just Dirk.

but yeah, too many turnovers......gave up too many second chance points.....missed too many shots....

All the BS Calls that dirk gets and the JJ Flops. How dirk gets touched on one end and duncan gets HAMMERED on there other and gets no call. This is why the NBA has no credibility anymore.

Well congrats to the refs tonight. They earned this win!!

This game doesn't go into overtime if they don't give Duncan an obvious offensive interference.

The butthurt is strong in this one.

I thought it was a great game. Both teams played hard. I don't give a fuck about the whistles.

The Spurs had their opportunities. The main play I am a little bit miffed about is the missed bunny by Timmy after the Hill miss. He seems to miss quite a few of those in close games.

Mav fan is right. The whistles were pretty even. With 18 turnovers and 17 offensive rebounds given up the Spurs have no one to blame but themselves.

There were a lot of missed calls tonight but you can't argue with that many turnovers.

Of course the refs suck, but if Duncan quit acting like a little biatch, and would have just dunked the damn ball, this shit would have never happened!

Dirkee is a clumsy twerp. He gets waaaaaay too much slack from the officials. Time after time he gets to the line with minimal contact.

Duncan gets hammered down low and the whistles get swallowed.

What really pissed me off was the "offensive foul" on Hill with the game in the balance. JJ Barrea needs a good solid elbow to the face if he want to take a charge.

The officiating is typical Mavs vs. Spurs, it's been this way since 2006..

That's not why we lost though..Mason was horrible for a huge stretch, Jefferson was making bad decisions everywhere, Hill didn't get aggressive until OT, Duncan missed that chip shot, Finley can't guard anybody, McDyess was bad until late..

Plenty of chances to win, couldn't do it..move on to the next game..

Spurs view the Larry O'Brien trophy as the championship, the Mavs view wins over the Spurs as championships..they won their title tonight, Dirk is happy, he'll probably go call his crazy girl in jail to tell her the good news..he earned it tonight..

This^.

Although Dirk did get some ghost calls, refs weren't the reason we lost the game. We just couldn't execute down the stretch

+1. Last I checked...TD has more rings than Dirk yet the refs STILL treat Dirk like the German Jordan.

There were a lot of missed calls tonight but you can't argue with that many turnovers.

You can when some of the turnovers (1 or 2 vs. Bonner, 1 missed bounce off Terry's leg) were bad calls.

I will admit I'm not sure about the Bonner calls, (and 1 against Hairston), but it looked like Bonner kept his pivot foot planted and I couldn't see how Hairston could have traveled with what he did (1 step towards the basket). It would have been nice to see the replays, but ESPN doesn't know what they're doing.

The calls that annoy me most are Duncan obviously getting banged around on one end of the floor with no call, the Mavs go the other way and awkward Dirk does his flailing arms and legs bit with a call almost every time (real or imagined).

So where was spurfan's whining about the refs when Duncan got a free basket on an obvious offensive interference or a bailout for Bogans at the end of the quarter?

Way to shit on the guy who carried the team to overtime.

Regardless, it is true. Instead of playing around, a dunk would have been a sure basket. But of course, he didn't and that was the changing moment.

Those 3 point plays were killers. Dyess got fatigued and started playing lazy defense w/ the reaching. Those two hurt.

How long have you been watch the nba? Its always like that. You can live with bad calls because it even outs by the end of the game. What matters is how you execute down the stretch. Spurs didn't do that tonight but they're still learning...

Except when it doesn't. And I'm not saying we should have won necessarily (they did play poorly for long stretches), I'm just annoyed with Dirk's endless parade to the free throw line. As for the Duncan tip in, the replay for me wasn't that obvious (I think it was interference, but I'm not positive he touched it). In any case, 1 call for us vs. how many for Dirk?
