Only player from Duke I could ever accept rooting for. Loved watching him in his prime. Damn shame about those injuries that stole several prime years of a certain HoF career. Glad he's on the Suns, but I still would have liked to see him go to Boston for a chance at a ring.

Grant Hill is a legend, I always have respect for this guy, no matter where he plays. He rocks.

Not exactly the same situations, but as a Phoenix fan I harbored a lot of resentment towards Penny Hardaway, both from the lack of games played due to injury, but also because he always seemed to play just enough to keep the Suns from voiding his deal.

While Hill gave it everything he had to get back on the court, and while his attitude was always one of utmost class and respect, I'm sure there are some Magic fans that still begrudge him for failing to live up to his contract, even though such was entirely due to injury.

That's about the only situation I can see anyone not liking Hill as a person and player.

Great player and guy even if he is a Dookie with a beautiful wife ...

Wanted him to sign in LA if he was inserted in Luke's place as the backup 3/2 Lakers would be unstoppable his game is MEANT for the triangle offense ...

I find it amazing that Grant Hill with almost 55 years old nowadays looks slimmer and more nimble than in his rookie season. The Suns' training staff is amazing.

Grant Hill is great, but man, look at this crazy quote from today's Republic:

"Maybe we'll be good enough on defense where everybody will start playing defense like us too," Hill said.

Me too, that way Dudley would be getting heavy minutes and E.Clark would have a chance to develop this year.

Grant...it's not the 80s anymore. Even DRob lost his uptown fade. You really need to, as well. If you don't, it only leads down the path of jheri curl.

I just got home from work so I didn't watch the game. If Grant Hill was the one guarding Peja, fuck this thread.

Makes sense. It'd be great if the Suns had players who didn't need an hourly reminder that when you sign a contract to play basketball, it's expected that you rebound. If Gentry had a sack he'd bench Amare for 5 games because of this.

Such an undervalued player all-time. Absolute killer. Got into an argument with a Lakers fan earlier who thinks a healthy Prime Hill and Prime Shaq couldn't have won a championship. Obviously I think they would've. Most of his defensiveness obviously was in defense of Kobe. :lol
