You mean when he was making all those threes or when Dirk was taking him to school on the short bus?

I am sorry but Dirk can take anyone to school when he wants to. I think he is the top 4th quarter scorer for the league or something.

I don't disagree with that. But if you put Bonner on him, the Mavs will take that mismatch every single time. Just like last night. When we switched to Dice he basically took no more shots for the rest of the 4th quarter.
It's not that Dirk can't score on Dice. It's just not such an huge mismatch.

Can't blame Bonner for Pop's inability to get his head checked. Thankfully, I saw Hill on Dirk only twice, otherwise I would crap my pants.

I'm with you on that. I do have to say that at least Bonner rebounded well (although he SHOULD considering the bigs Dallas put out there).

no way... bonner actually played decent defense on dirk last night while mcdyss kept losing his man and kept getting lost on defense at the top of the key when switching his man.

PORTLAND, OR—Speaking with members of the Portland media Tuesday, veteran forward Juwan Howard announced between spoonfuls of complimentary tomato soup that he was excited to be a part of the Trail Blazers' organization, and was "proud and grateful" to wear the team's free uniform. "It's exciting to be a part of this team, but the fact that [team owner] Paul [Allen] promised me free rye bread here today was really the determining factor," said the 6-foot-9 power forward, who arrived to the press conference shirtless. "I look forward to contributing in any way I can. Hey, I'll be getting an away jersey, too, right? Gets so cold at night." Howard was the fifth player selected in the 1994 draft, and ever since has been wearing the Washington Bullets hat the team gave him that night.

What's up with all this retirement talk? I was listening to 570 today and they were talking to Jerry Rice, some Vikings Broadcaster, and Derek Fisher, all about "Waiting too long to hang em up". Weird.
Edit: Not TO Derek Fisher. Just talking about Derek Fisher. They said that there's no way the Lakers re-sign him after this season. I am pretty sure the Lakers will re-sign him. Donnie Nelson and Phil Jackson both understand that you just need that veteran presence. Pop understands, too. You spurfan are lucky to have Finley getting 20+ minutes a night.
