Palin's an idiot, but I didn't like the way they set that teenage girl up to make an ass of herself. I don't like seeing a kid grilled by biased media whether it's MSNBC or O'Reilly.

Yes, the reporter is clueless.

Sarah Palin did not say what she hits the girl with:

Transcript of Palin, Biden debate (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/02/debate.transcript/)

Transcript: The Vice-Presidential Debate (http://elections.nytimes.com/2008/president/debates/transcripts/vice-presidential-debate.html)

You damn libtards will believe anything a liberal reporter says...

Maybe she quoted Tina Fey?

Let's not forget that TARP was a Bush-era proposal...

On September 24, 2008, former President George Bush addressed the nation to explain the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) that was being crafted by the administration, the Treasury Department, and Congress. “Under our proposal,” Bush explained, “the federal government would put up to $700 billion taxpayer dollars on the line to purchase troubled assets that are clogging the financial system.”

TP (http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2009/09/15/bush-tarp/)

Yes, Sarah Palin did not support a Bush era bill.

Please Dan, are you really that dumb?

1. I said that Palin did not say those words in the VP debate. That reporter bitch lied.

2. Palin did not say in your video link she supported that particular bailout, but also couldn't say she was against what McCain was for.

3. The debate was 10/2/08

4. The bailout was 10/3/08

5. That ideo is 9/24/08

Please Dan. Give your propaganda a break. It's ridiculously transparent.

Kids are stupid. They'll buy any propaganda their parents or schoolteachers throw their way. When I was an ignorant 15 year-old I used to buy into the Republican world-view too, thanks in no small part to years of conservative indoctrination in Texas public schools.

I still don't like seeing a kid embarrassed on TV.

As much as I hated Palin, I would have voted the McCain ticket in a second had he drummed up the necessary support to destroy the bailout, or at least proposed some kind of alternative stimulus that didn't reward the sons of bitches who put our nation in this huge mess to begin with. Huge mistake by McCain.

She said something needed to be done. I don't recall her saying that particular bailout was needed.

When she does say "bailout" it's after an obvious edit.

Have the full transcript by chance? I haven't been able to find one. Just what's in the video, but it's edited.

Wake up.... Smell the coffee...

I first said that she did not say those words in the VP debate and provided two transcripts to prove that point. Now you assholes want to change the argument, and all you have is an edited video, that doesn't prove your point worth a shit.

She said this the same day with CNN (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/21/palin.sitroom.transcript/index.html):

Palin: We cannot start moving closer and closer to socialism. That will destroy the entrepreneurial spirit in America. That will punish hard work and productivity, and that work ethic that we try to instill in our children so that they will know that they can be rewarded for their productivity, for their hard work. We cannot move in that direction, that it should be so concerning for any American voter to consider that perhaps there are some who would like us to go there. Now, as for the economic bailout provisions and the measures that have already been taken, it is a time of crisis and government did have to step in playing an appropriate role to shore up the housing market to make sure that we're thawing out some of the potentially frozen credit lines and credit markets, government did have to step in there. But now that we're hearing that the Democrats want an additional stimulus package or bailout package for what, hundreds of billions of dollars more, this is not a time to use the economic crisis as an excuse for reckless spending and for greater, bigger government and to move the private sector to the back burner and let government be assumed to be the be-all, end-all solution to the economic challenges that we have. That's what's scaring me now about hearing that the Democrats have an even greater economic bailout package, but we don't know all the details of it yet and we'll certainly pay close

The first part I bolded is not agreeing that the bailout was necessary, but that something was needing to be done. In context, you see she doesn't like what she sees happening. This is also before the full details of the bailout were voted on, and she disapproves with what she says the democrats want to do.

In all fairness Palin didn't vote for the bailout because she was not a senator or representative, however, I have no doubt that she would have done so if she had a vote.
