Yeah, but he aint killing my fantasy team with below 40% shooting and 5 turnovers a game like that nappy headed Arenas is.

Hey, don't disrespect mi cubano...

Why are Laker Fans so obsessed with Jefferson? Oh right, insecurity. I forgot.

14mil??? :lmao:lmao:lmao

I'd rather my team pay him $14 mil than them pay a center who has played a grand total of 85 games over the past 2 years $12 mil...then $14 mil then $15 mil then $16 mil. I just wonder if bynum will get hurt before or after the all-star break. I'm betting before.

this is the 1st year of his contract. so id say its safe to say he's earning that contract

Shastafarian

You don't have to wonder that about Manu, Parker and Duncan, do you?

You mean three players that have proven themselves to be great and have actually played entire seasons? I'm gonna laugh even harder if Bynum gets selected to the all-star team and can't play because he shattered another body part.

Through 12 games? :lol Why not see if he lasts 50 before saying he's earning his contract.

Not sure if this is trolling or a serious post. I doubt anyone would want to pay Jefferson 14 million rather than having Bynum and paying him 12. Bynum's the better, younger player.

Dick can play all 82 and he'll never earn his contract. That contract literally fucked the Spurs more than they all ready were for years to come.

Bosh or any other big name FA was pipe dream anyways.

Can a player play 35 games and earn a contract?

So you don't think they even had a shot at Bosh?

I think he would have talked to SA, but he was likely to talk to every team that called him. He's talking about being noticed. He might have his eyes set on a big market.

Spurs traded for this guy 5 years too late

Jefferson - 15.4 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 3.1 APG, .491 FG%

Artest - 12.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.2 APG, .434 FG%

But im sure Artest is the signing of the off-season.

Caron Butler tonight.... 3-9 FG, 8 PTS in 33 minutes.

Isnt that what you guys do, pick whichever wing is having the worst offensive night and say, LOOK... LOOK WHAT RON DID TO THIS PREMIER WING....

Ron Artest could go 2-15, but Laker-fan would use his 2004 defensive rep to try convince everyone else and themselves he had a great game because he must have played some good defense.

Yeah, but not even Lakerfan likes Sasha... or the other 2 scrubs for that matter...
I would say Shannon Brown probably outplays them all 3 combined at a fraction of the cost...

A guy averaging 15/5/3 is a scrub? :lol

Jefferson: 15.4/5.2/3.1 on 49.1%

Sasha: 2.0/1.3/0.3 (32.1%)
Walton: 3.7/1.7/1.9 (42.4%)
Farmar: 5.5/2.2/2.8 (35.4%) =

11.2/5.2/5

True. With the money Dick is getting, I know he'll get ripped by this board if he continues to play poorly with the starters in the lineup.

I think RJ will be fine. I don't think Pop is even calling plays for him when he's with TD and TP.
Out of curiosity, now that we're talking about overpriced scrubs, how much is Jerry paying Adam human victory cigar Morrison? Does he have a big contract?

A lot of Laker fans are fucking faggots. Don't forget to put up Ariza's stats too. He's the only guy I liked on the Lakers last season. I also liked him before he went to LA as I thought the Spurs should trade Orlando for him. He was a really big factor for them in the playoffs. Game saving steals, huge 3 pointers and very solid defense. Lakers kicked him to the curb for a soft ass bitch like Odom.

Ice009
11-21-2009, 11:54 PM
We upgraded, bitch.

You didn't upgrade shit.

You kicked a guy to the curb who was a key player in your championship.

With out Ariza you don't win shit last season.

To top it off you chose Odom who has done nothing but choke it up for years and not play to his potential.

I think I miscalculated with that $15 million earlier.

Farmar/Walton/Vujacic = $11.2 million

Morrison/Walton/Vujacic - $15 million

:lmao

I figured Farmar with the other two didn't add up to 15 mill but was too lazy. I think he's still on his rookie contract. I just know this is his final year under contract and hope the Lakers just part ways with him.

I really don't get why they didn't go after a PG if they (Phil Jackson) were so set on not playing him. Maybe he sucks maybe he doesn't. I can't watch most of the games. But if you're not gonna play Farmar maybe try and teach Brown some defense. The PG position is gonna come back to haunt the Lakers if they don't figure it out soon.

He regressed considerably, IMHO...
What's the Lakers bench now that Pau is back? Odom/Brown/Powell? Is Mbenga getting minutes too?

I doubt Mbenga gets any minutes besides minutes to end the 1st half and garbage time now. Odom/Brown/Powell will probably be the main 2nd unit. Sasha might get some time, though he wont deserve it.

Who cares. Duncan and Ginobili are on their last legs, literally. We need help right now. The Spurs don't have time to woo a free agent that will never sign here, as has happened a million times in the Duncan era. No one wants to play here.

Only a lakerfan could be insecure about an overpaid SF on a sub .500 team.
