View Full Version : In honor of the bucks game tomorrow, a hypothetical trade

By no means am I advocating trading anybody on the Spurs. But hypothetically speaking, if you were GM of the spurs right now and John Hammond calls and offers you the following:

Andrew Bogut, Brandon Jennings, lottery protected 1st round pick

for

Tony Parker + Ian Mahinmi

Would you pull the trigger? If you wouldn't, would you at least think twice?

And yes, I know salaries don't work out. This is only hypothetical

If I was Milwaukee, I wouldn't do it, and I wouldn't think twice about turning you down.

You mean we can't trade Mason for Jennings?

Chieflion
11-22-2009, 11:12 PM
You are an idiot. Jennings is playing like the 2nd best point guard in the NBA and the Bucks would spit in your face, tear up the Spurs contact number, piss in your hair and rape your mom and then tell you to GTFO. When they hear Bogut, they crush their phone and change their contact number.

Last but not least, in before the lock.

If this is a hypothetical, then we must have pics of the Bucks owner with a prostitute. Otherwise this is just dumb. I'm a newbie too but I have a little more sense than this.

Yet ANOTHER stupid hypothetical trade thread.

When will the noobs learn?

Get off the guys nuts, he said hypothetically. Meaning in fantasy land. And yes, in Fantasy land I would pull the trigger on that trade.

Stop being douches and either ignore the thread, or post what was asked.

No point in entering a thread just to insult the guy who created it. Hurting peoples internet feelings, shame on you.

Well, if it's only fiction, then yes, that seems like a no-brainer. However, I don't think the Spurs would be contenders this year. That's just way too many people to get acclimated.

Another hypothetical. Jessica Biel came into the laundromat while you were washing clothes and asked you out for coffee. You said yes, of course. Then, five minutes later, Kim Kardashian comes in and makes you a more intimate offer. Coffee with Biel or the deed with Kardashian?

I vote Biel.

I'd take what you left behind and enjoy every minute of it.

Actually, I'm not on the Jennings bandwagon. I think he's only out for his stats and trying to prove people wrong a la Gilbert Arenas. His assist/TO numbers are very mediocre. We'll see.

Having said that, the Bucks would only do this trade if Jerry West was the GM and it was with the Lakers.

Well, as long as we're just speaking hypothetically...

I'd rather trade Bonner for Nowitzki.

Finley for Kobe.

Mahinmi for Howard.

And Haislip for Superman.

If we could include a draft kicker or something for Air Bud, we'd be unstoppable.

This thread is almost as bad as the ones last year that declared Mahinmi was The Savior.

I guess "noobs" ain't the only ones who make mistakes.
