I've been sick since last Monday. My youngest turns five today (which officially makes me old) and the cake I tried to make for her last night fell into a billion pieces when I tried to transfer it. And if my old man tries to wake me up at 0500 for some fun one more time he's going to lose an as yet undetermined appendage. Overall, not the best weekend (but definitely not the worst anybody's ever had either).

Sucks to hear that Des. What kind of cake was it? At 5 years old I would still have gone to town on a crumbled up cake. Just warm up the frosting and pour it all over and I am good to go. Hell, I would still go for it now.

Only notable event that happened this weekend was getting my 5 inch heels stuck in mud and falling over into the mud whilst trying to get out. Fortunately, this happened after a night out.

I had a good Saturday morning- went to Barnes and Nobles, bought a book, and read it over the lunch I treated myself to.

Saturday night I worked at the Spurs. I enjoyed the company of my co-workers and seeing the game, but not as much as usual because I was beginning to feel under the weather.

I should have gone straight home and to sleep after leaving work. But my husband and a bunch of our friends were at Chili's eating dinner so I went and hung out with them.

I woke up feeling really sick in the middle of the night and felt poorly all day Sunday. I had several fevers and the over the counter flu medicine I was taking made me so drowsy I couldn't stay awake.
Last night Bo went out and bought me some Musinex. I am on my second dose of it and am feeling better.

This is a busy work week for me as I work at both jobs today and Wednesday and a long shift on Tuesday.
Then on Black Friday I am scheduled to be at the mall at 4:30 am! :wow

Sick, so I spent most of the weekend in bed.
We got a new kitten, so we spent a good deal of time with him. He's apparently afraid of carpet, and is taking great care to avoid it at all costs. Entertaining, though I look like I lost a fight with a rogue razorblade because of all the times the kitten tried to climb me like a tree.

SFIE and I did have a couple of quickies. Not much to discuss, since I was feeling under the weather, we made it fast but fun. I think we can safely say we've mastered that.

Uber geeky weekend. Almost finished Breaking Dawn in two sittings. Me reading almost 800 pages in two sittings would be a record. But, it didn't happen.

Then ended pretty crappy finding out my great aunt was in the hospital.

Hopefully the rest of the holiday week will be better.

It was pretty slow and shit. I did get to fly to San Antonio though. I won't name names but a certain Mayor paid my way. That filthy bastard insisted on dressing up like the dictator of my country (Cuba) and told me that he is the dictator but I was his dicktaker. The dude was sick but bought me lots of stuff and gave me some spending money to take back to Miami with me.

Nothing else really. It was pretty much slow and boring this weekend.

I got into a car accident. I was unconscious for a while, but my wife saved me. It's a horrible time for me right now. People are saying terrible things about my wife, so I'm trying to keep my head up.
