It's not homophobia. Straight men just aren't attracted to the male figure at all. Two dudes kissing is pretty fucking weird. On the other hand, straight men love the female figure. It's awesome. Out of this world. And it's pretty fucking cool to see two girls kissing. That's why this double standard exists, if you even want to call it that. I'd say it's just normal.

He's just flat out weird. The cover of his album is really freaky looking. People like him are why I have trouble with the whole gay agenda. He's not looking to just live his life, he's "in your face" flaming - and he does it just for the shock value. His attempt to compare what he did to Madonna is off-base because she was on cable on MTV and this was network prime-time television. I also think his claim of discrimination is invalid because I can bet plenty of people would have been offended if he were doing the same thing to women that he did to men. Plus, his voice sounded crappy.

I don't have a problem with him or the way he parades his gayness. But, I don't listen to his music. I didn't see him perform the other night. I don't pay attention to it. I don't think he's really hurting anyone by doing it, so I just ignore it. People who have a problem with him should probably do the same. Just ignore him until he's left to parade his gayness to an audience of one in the mirror.

If he has legitimate talent, it won't matter how flamboyant he is. Elton John was successful because of his talent even though everyone knew he was a flamer. George Michael's music still sold and still sells after he came out. Lambert's music will dictate how long he lasts in the music industry. If his music sucks, he'll find his way to obscurity pretty fast. If his music is good, it won't matter how he acts. It will be about the music. Either way, I don't pay attention and I don't let it bother me.

'GMA' cancels Adam Lambert after racy performance on AMAs

(CNN) -- The fallout from Adam Lambert's risqué American Music Awards performance keeps coming with "Good Morning America" canceling the singer's live performance scheduled for Wednesday morning.

ABC was flooded with more than 1,500 complaints, and the network sent an e-mail to potential concert goers letting them know that Lambert would not be performing on Wednesday.

"Given Adam Lambert's controversial live performance on the AMAs, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning," a spokesperson for the network said.

"The Early Show" on rival network CBS was quick to announce that they have booked Lambert to perform and discuss the controversy on Wednesday morning.

Lambert shocked viewers with his sexually suggestive dance sequence that included simulated oral sex as well as Lambert kissing his male keyboardist.

The Parents Television Council, a Media watchdog group, also attacked the show as vulgar and urged its members on Monday to contact ABC, Dick Clark Productions and the show's advertisers with complaints about the content.

"Last night's 'American Music Awards' broadcast was nothing short of tasteless and vulgar. Adam Lambert, the second-place finisher in last season's 'American Idol' competition, chose to treat American families to simulated oral sex and other demeaning behavior," the PTC posted on its Web site.

Melissa Henson, director of communications and public education for the PTC, said the council wasn't concerned about Lambert's gay kiss. Its issue and focus are on the simulated oral sex, she said.

"The gender has nothing to do with it," Henson said. "It would be true if it had been a woman's face that was thrust into his crotch."

Henson also noted that this is not an anti-Adam Lambert campaign and said the council would have had no problem with Lambert performing live on "Good Morning America."

"As long as he keeps it clean," Henson said.

I appreciate Adam's music and performance energy, but I don't think it was the right place to do it or the right time. Gay kiss, gay head, whatever...families still make up the majority of his audience and most likely the audience of that awards show. I was just as critical of Miley dancing on an ice cream cart pole at a kid's choice award show. Poor taste.

Adam's such a great singer that he doesn't need to be controversial to survive. Leave that to Madonna and Britney Spears, don't make a novelty out of your sexuality.
