I don't think anyone does. That's mostly been a bet between JT and Mono for the Colts/Patriots games.

This isn't looking good.
Hopefully it'll piss Manning off enough that, when he takes the field again, he'll tear the defense apart.

Actually I do think they're a bit overrated, they're all Peyton Manning - their defense is suspect and other than Wayne they have no name receivers. It's amazing they're 10-0 with some of the weaknesses they have. I expect them to get exploited in the playoffs at one point.

Agreed. Without Peyton Manning, that's a 6-10 team. Peyton is that good though.

You mean the D that leads the league in points per game allowed coming into this week?

Whisky Dog
11-29-2009, 02:43 PM

So the defense has no weaknesses, giving up 20 in a half shows that.

Agreed. Without Peyton Manning, that's a 6-10 team. Peyton is that good though.

I won't deny Peyton is downright awesome, and there have definitely been days when he's singlehandedly saved a game...but to say the Defense is overrated is silly...
And how can you not be impressed with the way the rookies and Clark have stepped up this season?

dirk4mvp

Whisky Dog
11-29-2009, 02:51 PM
You mean the D that leads the league in points per game allowed coming into this week?

A lot of that has to do with Manning not turning it over putting them in short field situations. When he does turn it over once they give up 20 in a half. They gave it up to the Pats until Peyton bailed them out.

Didn't say they are horrible, just a bit suspect at times especially against good teams.

IronMexican
11-29-2009, 02:52 PM
It's the Texans, though. They could literally be up by 21 in the 4th vs the Colts and blow it.

So, if the Texans score here, do they go for 2?

I mean, you can't really just take the extra point and assume you'll have another chance with the ball - not when Peyton knows how to control the clock.

I'm proud of the Colts.
The Texans were kicking their ASSSSSSSSSESSSSSS to start the game.
In typical Colts' fashion, they regrouped at the half and came back strong. Good for them!

And for those hating on the Colts defense...thinking Peyton is all the Colts have...
I think the team has proven you wrong.

Yeah..but you know what? They do have Peyton...so that's the thing. Maybe they aren't great without him, but they have him, so they don't have to worry about it. Good comeback. I was cheering for Houston, but damnit, what can you do? They're snakebit against Indy.

That last drive of the first half killed the Texans. 3rd and 1 and they go for a long pass? Fucking get the first down and give yourself three tries at the end zone.

I knew they were going to lose the game at that point. Total first half dominance and they only came away with a 13 point lead.
