Post in here if you regret your vote for Obama after all of this disaster that's going on right now. What incompetence, terrible!

Distinguished war hero McCain would have been great right about now.

I voted for McCain, even though I was a registered Dem. I'm switching to Independent.

As a voter, party loyalty is a conflict of interest, imo.

I actually think he is doing okay considering the circumstances. Not doing any worse than any other President. At this point in time in Clinton's presidency he was hovering around the 30% approval rating and when he ran for re-election that was prob one of the biggest landslides ever. With the cast of characters the GOP are putting up to possibly run, Obama may not even have to campaign this time around to win. :lol

As much as I complain about Obama, I don't think McCain would be any better.

As much as I complain about Obama, I don't think McCain would be any better.

There would have been some subtle differences in how the stimulus package looked. I think he'd also have spent more time talking about Iraq and Afghanistan and much less on health care and cap and trade. He'd still have been stuck with a democrat controlled congress, so there would be more friction there. But by and large, no real difference.

This inherited mess wasn't (isn't) going to be easily resolved by any president regardless of party affiliation. And the "messes" inherited was not brought on by any one president. It's been an accumulation of years of greed, selfesh aspirations and partisan politics by our congress and senate that has gotten us here.

I or anybody else could probably agree with this...
If the majority of our representatives were to actually vote according to the pulse and convictions of their constituent's instead of their fiscal benefactors many of the issues we have now would not be issues.

mccain would have been all about neoliberalism as well. and for those who really think obama is a socialist perhaps they should go back and start catching up on their robert owen and karl mark writings.

karl mark? george karl's cousin?

yes, as a matter of fact. his manifesto is all about the complete disdain for man to man defense and essentially states that a player is only as good as the amount of points one can produce a a member of a unit whose sole aim is to benefit the team by scoring and scoring and scoring.

defense is an elitist and bourgeois aim that creates class conflict and must give rise to the aims of the proletariat class of players who do not believe in the constructs of such capitalist endeavors of defense employed by the likes of the popovich system.

I honestly can't imagine the circumstances under which I would truly regret voting for Obama for that reason.

I knew that BHO wouldn't be able to live up entirely to his promises. No candidate ever does, because it is easy to say one will do X or Y until one is faced with the real world consequences of that promise and realizes that X or Y wasn't really all that realistic to begin with.

Obama is a refreshing breath of competency after 8 years of Bush administration fuck-ups and rampant cronyism.

I voted for him, I regret it, though the other option may have not been any better. I've lost all faith in the government. I'm with Jesse Ventura. I think the government is a bunch of liars, and there is a whole lot of shit going on that we won't ever know about.

on topic. no. i don't yet have a reason to regret my vote for him. its only been 11 months, so he hasn't yet had enough time to mess up. if he does, then i will, i'm not a blind follower, i vote what i think is best for my country.

then again it only took me 9 months to regret my vote for nader in 2000

Not like your vote in Texas matters. Did anyone think Obama would carry Texas ? Nope.

I voted for that Libertarian dude from Georgia who's name eludes me....

Barr

However I voted, the outcome was the same. But no way I was voting for either of those two dunces. No way.
