This game is going to be the only reason I put down MW2 and then pick it up again after I have beaten it. Red Dead Revolver was one of my all-time faves to play. This one, well, its going to be awesome!

After getting my PS3 at Thanksgiving I started looking at what's coming up and this is one that really caught my eye. The original was one of those games that I just never got tired of playing. I loved the huge homage to the Spaghetti Westerns and it looks like this one takes the whole thing even deeper.

I just saw the new Gameplay trailer and it looks to be a lot better then GTA 4 was.

OMFG!

I just found out about this game a few weeks ago. I'll be in western bliss (I'm a huge western junky). It looks so fun. I've been wanting a decent sandbox western for a long time. Gun was okay, but I wanted more.

there has been rumours, nothing more than that but rockstar doesn't mind making sequels (GTA, Max Payne).

personally, i'm hoping it will be a prequel to redemption during the time when John was riding with his original gang.

There will be another game.

Its just a matter of when. Perhaps after GTA5 comes out and thereafter.

Game is too good not to have another extension of sorts.

I'm not into western movies or settings but I like this game.

I made a mistake of trading in this game before finishing it because it starts out so slow I just didn't have time for it.

I had to rebuy it later.

Well you can imagine how much I enjoy it if I like the setting and films and you don't but still like it.

I did same thing, finished it then sold but wanted to play again so bought again, lucky got it off ebay for 17 bucks

I recently bought the GOTY edition that comes with all the DLC. That game's just too good not to play again.

RDR got great reviews and sold a ton, a 3rd game is to be expected.

Here's hoping. A prequel of Marston in his bad old days would be preferable. The last act of the story was set against the backdrop of the end of "The Old West" as we know it so it would be tough to continue from there to begin with, but also I thought the pubefaced Jack White/Adam Morrison looking son was grating as hell. It was Solid Snake and Raiden all over again.

Agreed. I liked being pubefaced Jack White just fine as the completion of Marston's narrative, but had zero interest in him as a character or what happened in the years we didn't see.

Like GTA, another Red Dead game will probably take place in a new location with a new protagonist. A young Marston cameo (maybe as a villain) would be cool though.

God damnit why can't E3 be the show next week instead of Computex? Computex looks like it's going to be dogshit this year with Vega gaming cards still months away and not even a Pascal refresh much less Vega gaming card rumored. I kept hoping for a rebrand + price drop like you saw for GTX670->GTX760 and GTX680->GTX770 a few years ago.
