View Full Version : Which NBA player would you most like to party with?

For me it's got to be Steve Nash. The guy is funny, he seems to like to party, and he's genuine - he tells you what he thinks. If he brought B-Diddy along, all the better. A night in Vegas with Steve Nash and B Diddy Davis would be freakin hilarious.

I'm stating it here, loud and proud - I am a Spurs fan, but I also like Steve Nash, both as a balla and the guy he appears to be (obviously, I don't really know him, but you can tell a lot from interviews and such). That is not a popular stance amongst Spurs fans, and I am not a popular guy, so be it. :D

For the record, I also believe Nash is a cool guy. In fact, I think hanging with either he or Dirk would be boss.

However for me, it's Charles Barkley. I know he's retired and all, but he still gets his hang out and his drink on. I doubt any current player could hold court, buy drinks and generate as many great stories as the Chuckster.

Nash probably would be fun. Ginobili to me always came across as a guy you'd like to hang out with and have a couple of drinks.

Nice choice Ruff. A story that might interest you a little bit then; I once shared more than a few frothies with Aaron Olson, a Canadian/New Zealand basketball who played in the Australian national league for the Breakers. He is pretty good mates with Steve Nash and said he has never seen someone who can drink crazy amounts the night before a game and still play perfectly fine the next day.

Although that could explain some of the performances against Steve put up against the Spurs in the playoffs throughout the decade... :hat

Dirk Nowitzki. Would be fun to cruise around with Dirk and pick up old black whores from Dallas streets. :lol

And he will probably bring his gay boy friends with him to the party. So party on.

Duncan!!! I was a nationally ranked swimmer, an avid D&D player and used to make video games for Electronic Arts. We'd have a lot to talk about!!

(And I was also a power forward/center in high school, but I suspect Timmy might not be impressed with my b-ball stories.)

I was waiting for the predictable homophobic smack. I don't care about his sexual preference - that's between him and whoever he is in the bedroom with, which is NOT the subject of this thread. :rolleyes

You're just bitter that the one time Mark Cuban decided to be cheap your team lost out on a HoF PG who probably would've won you that ring in 2006.

See, I'd like to have a 6-hour food and wine degustation with David, Tim, Tony, Manu, Bruce, Brent, Big Shot and Pop (and their wives, of course), because they'd be great guys to have a lovely meal with in a calm setting. However, I doubt they'd be nearly as much fun out on the town.

As you say, dinner with Tim alone would also be wonderful because we'd probably connect on all kinds of nerdy non-basketball subjects, as well as the obvious basketball link.

Also, CENTRES of the world, unite! :toast (I just started playing comp ball again and am loving it)
