Blair :18 points,11rebounds in 22 minutes.
Great game by Blair but he is about the only bright spot in tonight's spurs game vs. Boston Celtics.

If you recorded the game, go back to when KG drew that foul for an and 1 play. If you listen to him after he does his chest pound thing, he starts screaming "fuck the beast!" repeatedly.

At least thats what it sounded like to me.

After that, Blair went off.

I forgot to tape the game. But I remember KG pounding his chest on the ground after he made the basket and got fouled for the and 1. Anybody have that part?

True Dat! I want to say more about the other players but I'm too pissed off right now. I don't want to say anything I would regret later.

blair obviously making his presence known in the league if KG was intimidated enough to say that!

It's amazing how many points Blair is getting simply from hanging around the basket and being able to corral whatever passes come his way. He's not even a big target or a leaper like Chandler. Is he being left open or is he just really good at moving into quality positions?

Garnett was saying... "Who is the fucking beast Blair?!?", not "Fuck the beast!"

If I were in that position I would have just said... I'm an undersized rookie... what are you?

I don't think so..

I distinctly heard: 'Fuckin' yeast!'

It's hard to knock a guy dealing with gynecological problems..

from some youtube comment, KG could have said "your a f*cking beast kev!, ima mother f*cking beast!" talking to himself.

anyway, he's an asshole. really.

but Blair is great, amazing. Really soft hands to finish at the rim despite a weird body moving sometimes.

Except Bonner had many great offensive rebounds/tips. Though not scoring he had a big impact on the game.

Even Doc's post game comments reflect Bonner's impact: "Bonner didn’t make a whole lot of shots, but Bonner had five rebounds where he deflected it and kept it alive. He did other things for them tonight."

Its funny that draftnet discusses various prospects at the age of 21 as being too young and inexperienced. Blair does not turn 21 until April. I wonder what this guy could turn in to if developed an outside shot or 3 point range.

10-15 footer would be nice and he had shown that he can shoot that 10-15 footer..just need to work on consistency :ihit

agreed. bonner played very well for a shooter who couldn't get his shot to go down. he salvaged a good few possessions that helped us chip away at boston's lead. kinda fabricio-esque.

If it was anyone but Sheed, then Blair probably would've gotten a fould called on that swipe, not that it wasn't clean, but the refs probably don't care for Sheed much. Ha.

I agree with Reggie that Blair should try to learn from Barkley's post game. And if Blair can add a mid-range jumpshot into his arsenal? His ceiling isn't set yet, that's for sure.

LOL at the announcers having to bring up Blair's ACLs every single game when their #1 golden boy is the chump sitting out with bad knee.

SpursRulez4eVeR
12-04-2009, 07:50 PM
Yeah, KG said fuck the beast for sure, but DeJuan went off so it's all good. If the refs were not terrible that would have been a better game.

KG is about the most hated BB player i have ever known

Fucking KG is such a douche lol

Blair and Duncan (except for trying to dribble like a guard against boston) have been such nice surprises so far in the season. I just hope the rest of the team joins them in effort at some point in time.
