I doubt very much the Nets will be cocky. :lol They barely even celebrated. They were just glad that they didn't set a new record.

Nets haven't been cocky since Kidd left. When we had Kidd, Carter, and Jefferson they always got cocky.

That is the first win in 5 years without Vince Carter on the Nets playing. Since Carter joined the Nets, they lost all their games when he was not playing. 1-28 without Vince Carter. Enjoy the post VC era.

Just something I saw in the Carter era. I am a VC fan. Carter's impact on a team is immeasurable. When he leaves a team, that team becomes dirt shit immediately.

cats just didn't want to make the record too hard to break imho, and oppositely they intended to break the record by rewarding the nets their first win this season after 18 straight losses. Then everyone remembers the name of Bobcats whenever chatting about this record.
