Man How time flies, the time when i post 1000 posts here is when i'm in San Antonio.

Texas is the state i like the most in the states thanks to the San Antonio Spurs,i can clearly remember that when i was 12,there were few NBA games on China's TV channels in that time, i used to think that:" what did american people say? what was they talking about the game? if i could speak english it would be amazing and incredible" ,since that time, i has been working very hard for learning english and american culture Tim has been my role model since 1999,watching him play on TV has also been part of my life till now,i study for him, work for him as well as learn english for him, he inspires me that what should a man do for his family and his career and shows me what is the right attitdue to life, something llike "good, better, best, never let it rest until your good is better and your better is your best", i take it all from this great guy.all i have today is based on Duncan's principles,i'm deeply grateful to that, next month, i will be this fantastic place where i dream to go for so long,if you see a asian boy who loses his way to somewhere he wants to travel in Texas, please do him a favor ,it's because all of you and him are spurs fans just live in different world.

I completely understand and know that i had posted some meaningless threads here and ever driven some people crazy, if you are one of those who once got mad by what i said, i hereby do apologize for that, it were all about my poor english and misunderstandings.

As for the trip, word can't describe how excited i'm ,hopefully everything will be alright during the time i'm in SA.:toast

My sincere regards from far east to you all and my role model, my endless role model

dont you have a rice cooker? or do you use a pan?

dude you make a few hundreds on the poker tables and ur telling me you cant invest in buyin a rice cooker which costs about $50, which does all that for you...

if you got a rice cooker
put water into the bowl of rice and wrince the rice...do this 2-3 times cause theres some grains or bs in the rice that needs to be clean.....

now fill up the bowl of rice with water again, dip ur thumb on top of the rice..water should not exceed ur thumbs finger print, that should be enough water for the rice to cook in.

then put it into the rice cooker and it cook by itself....

there is 3 methods how you want ur rice cooked whether sticky or soggy...no im not talkin congee.
- i already put up the first method, thats usin water...
- 2nd method use water, and put in a little cooking oil...that way ur rice aint sticky...i think this is how most indians/malays cook their rice....
- 3rd method, u can use coconut juice...thats how the thais cook their rice
